Pierce Norton is the outgoing president and CEO of ONE Gas, Inc., a natural gas utility based in Tulsa, Oklahoma that offers distribution services in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas. He served as the executive vice president and COO of ONEOK and ONEOK Partners before ONE Gas became a publicly traded company in January 2014. Before serving these roles, Pierce was president of then ONEOK Distribution Companies, which included Oklahoma Natural Gas, Kansas Gas Service, and Texas Gas Service, and served as the executive vice president of natural gas. In addition to previously serving at KN Energy and American Oil and Gas, he worked at Delhi Gas Pipeline where he started his career in 1982. Pierce serves on the boards the American Gas Association and the Tulsa Community College Foundation. Pierce received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and graduated from Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.
